CNC Software, LLC, the developer of Mastercam, provides state-of-the-art software tools for CAD/CAM manufacturing markets. Founded in 1983, CNC Software is one of the oldest companies in the PC-based CAD/CAM industry. Our company was built on the concept of providing an inexpensive PC-based CAM system at a time when most other systems were expensive CAD-oriented products.
CNC Software was one of the first companies to introduce CAD/CAM software designed for both the machinist and the engineer, providing practical solutions to both markets. With Mastercam, an engineer could easily construct parts quickly and machine them at an affordable price. Mastercam offers solutions for designers and NC programmers in a spectrum of applications including 2- through 5-axis routing, milling, and turning; 2- and 4-axis wire EDM; 2D and 3D design; surface and solid modeling; artistic relief cutting; and Mill-Turn.
